During the heaving up of the port anchor for proceeding to pick up the pilot, it was found that the anchor chain between the 3rd and 1st shackle is mixed up(entangled). Due to the persisting condition of the anchor cable, the vessel is unable to having up the anchor.

Propel inspector was called for assistance. With the efforts of crew and boat the chain could not be de entangled. Efforts stopped by end of day. Arranged barge to come alongside to lift the chain and release the chain.

Barge Arabella arrived to de-entangle the chain. 06:30hrs operations commenced. 15:30hrs anchor chain was successfully de-entagled, anchor taken out and stowed in position.
